today was a normal clinic day until i meet a little girl named grace. sorry i am jumping a head to the end of the day- we strayed over night in tiwi so that we could go to bromoni and do shoes and a clinic. the shoes were on my list for the day. i thought it would be easy but it was crazy we did 500 pairs of shoes! lots of village people. we handed them out in the old church…witch was a falling apart mud hut. wow to see how small they started. its awesome how god is at work their. I was able to go see where they are about to drill for the bur whole for the well in tumini that was sad to see the condition of the water they drink now. It breaks your heart. I pray that God will use that community to bless other sound and help them see christ love bc of the well.
The afternoon was made up most of playing with the kids- did balloons and that was crazy once again. I was able to teach the theater Frances (a teacher at tiwi) how to make balloon animals and that was so fun teaching him and watching him make up animals.
I meet this little girl named Grace in the after noon. She was really shy and it was the end of the day the doc were packing up. Rosie and i were talking and how Grace was standing she looked pregnant, Rosie said to me please don’t tell me she is pregnant so I came back with my doc come back…want me to go feel her belly and see? She said yes….think I did it? I went over and felt her belly, it didn’t feel prego (bc I know what that feel like- lol) we got a translator to ask her I’d she had see the doc today- she hadn’t so we took her to see him. I stayed with her the whole time and got to have a glimpse in to her story. Grace pulled on some strings of my heart today that all I can do is ask God to help me see his plane for her and ask him how he can use me to impact it for his glory!
