Hello,

   The time is almost here! 10 days till we leave for Kenya. God has been doing so much in my life and heart to get me ready for this trip. Mark talked to the team about the great needs we will see in Kenya and how we will have a desire to fill all of them. Though its not something new it still tugs on my heart strings. Mark went on to talk about how God has called each one of us over for different reason but all for one purpose. To put a touch of love on someone. I started to think more on what God has called me to do this summer. At the end of Marks talk he said remember you are going to change a heart, you wont be able to fix all the needs you see. In that moment I knew God was going to use this in big ways to prepare my heart. At Fox River our mission statement has three hearts in it. A voice of hope, known by love and living by faith. The three hearts are on the back  wall in the chapel at Vipingo.  I have a picture of all the kids sitting in front of those three hearts…And that’s when Marks challenge hit home for me. Its true, I cant fill all the needs, I cant do it all…I want to but what God is calling me to do is change a heart for Him and through that those kids can help change the world.

I put together a short video of how we have see hearts being impacted and change over the years because of people like you praying, giving and supporting the mission. Thank you for helping change a heart!
