Our last day of clinic was outstanding! It was a little different with half of the team going to see a different area there was only 12 of us to run it but it was perfect. The morning started off with just a few coming in at a time witch gave us a little more time to talk and bond to the kids.
Emily was one of the first girls we took and when we were asking her information like name, last name and how old she was it was surprising that she didn’t know her last name, then when we asked how old she was she didn’t know and said to ask her cousins because they would know. When we want to talk to them they knew she was seven but the funny thing is that when we put her younger brother in the chair and she knew how old she was and what tooth was hurting him. She then went on to tell us that she gives him pain meds for his tooth. It was vary interesting to see how they know something’s about others that they don’t know about there self. Then again I do that some times too…I forget how old I am and have to think how old my brother is to remember how old I am! Haha
The day was filled with conversation about where we go from here, how are we going to let God keep this working going in our lives. For most of us its going to take time to be we’re we want to be tomorrow but need to wait on Gods timing and growing us so we are ready for the challenges a head. Please pray for not just me as I keep seeking after Gods plan for my life but the whole team to keep seeking after Gods plan for there life.
These kids were waiting for us when we got in to the center!
Another day of showing Gods tough love!
The kids were just watching us as we set up the clinic.
Aww…I’m going to miss this girl! Nancy was the one keeping on the right track with knowing what the tools were really called when Ben would make up his own names for them.
This was our amazing team after our last day of serving in Guatemala together, for some it will be our last time together and for others I think it’s the start of many!
