When I was working with the 6th graders I had about 12 girls that would hanging out with me. My dad and I were doing some interviews with my girls for my gift for Jesus. When we asked the question how many of you know Jesus as your personal lord and savior? Every one of those girls raised their hands, I thought I must have asked the question wrong and they didn’t understand so I had my dad ask it. We got the same response after talking about it with the girls it wasn’t a misunderstanding. They knew exactly what that meant and they all were saved. I was taken back by that, I think of the hope they find in knowing that they are a child of God. How many kids in a Christian school here could say that? It gave me goose bumps and moved me that day but God wasn’t done using them yet.
The things we are doing in Africa are big, but the things we still have to do here in Waukesha, Wi are just as big. I have been praying all week for God to give me peace and direction for where He has me, He has shown His faithfulness again. God commanded us to go in to all the world and preach the gospel, He didn’t say we had to move to Africa He just said go…I know for me in this season of life He told me to go 10min down the road and preach the gospel at Fox River SummerXP. I am grateful for the chance to serve all around the world! There are times in life when He has to let you wonder in the wilderness for a season before He brings you in to the promise land! He brought me out to bring me in! Deuteronomy 6:23 (esv)
