What a fun HOT day it was! Bomani is set back off the main road in more of a wooded area. There is also a large wall around the area so it cuts out almost all of the breeze. I say that because this graduation was held outside. There were a few tents but for the photographer (me) it was a lot of sun! Not good for this red haired white girl.
The graduation started late as usual but was very well done I have to say! A student have a really cool speech on how the school was started and all that has gone on in the last 8 years.
The hardest but yet my favoret part of the day was when we did the cutting of the cake. It was a lot like Bomani where mom and I cut it but the parents feed the graduates the cake this time. My heart broke when there were two kids that there parents didn’t come but God had already set a plan in place for them. One of them was my moms boy. It was so special for her to step in and be Martins Amarican mom.
So funny they had to wear robes too!
Mom feeding Martin on his day.
One of the teacher got a chicken as a gift and Ben said “it’s finger licking good”
I brought my photo printer so that we could give each of the graduate a photo. Something they would never get.
