Congratz Vipingo Grads!

Our last two days have been full of adventure. Sunday morning was full of adventure we went from church at crossroads to lunch at Yul’s  with friends and missionaries, Grandpa took his first camel ride to graduation prep. We had the privilege of writing in each of the graduates Bible and encouraging note and congratulations for their education accomplishments thus far, we got a nice assembly line going and packed all the graduation gift bags. Meanwhile Ben was trying to come up with creative inspirational quotes to put in the kids Bibles example being

“just do it”

 Nike
For real he was quite entertaining as we assemble the bags. After we finish the bags and dinner most of us went to bed but a few of the diehard Packer fans stayed up to follow the game on the wraps I’ll let you figure out which two those were! 😉

The day had finally come for the Vipingo graduates, The kids were so excited and yet nervous at the same time as this is a really big step in Kenya to complete your standard education and receive your certificate of accomplishment. For many of them they will go on to high school and then we pray to college while others will be attending a technical. I have to say it was a really big blessing to be able to be a part of such a big day in the lives of these kids and in their families. It is been such an honor to watch them grow up into the young men and women that God has created them to be. We are so excited to see what their next step will be and how God is going to use them in the future.

We ended this special day with a walk down the beach to get some ice cream at our favorite place, Yul’s!
