Day 3 was off to Vipingo where we did a lot of the same things kids pictures, reading to the kids, lunch with the teachers and then sitting in on some of the pastors conference. This day seam to go faster then the day before! We were able to get all our stuff accomplished we needed too. It was really cool to be able to be a part of the pastors conference and hear my dad teaching to them. The graduation was healed in the evening and was really cool as well. To think that these guys prob would have never gotten anything like this in there life. This was there big day- bigger then what. You and I could ever imagine, it was not oh should I or shouldn’t I walk on graduation day but a great privilege. They talked about how one of the guys almost didn’t graduate because he almost died – wow that’s crazy- he wasn’t old just of how living conditions are. That helps put things in check for me- just thinking about Caleb graduating this past spring and how it would have been a different calibration if he almost did 1-2 times before graduating. Helps me think about the choice we have set be for us.

Day 4 was a rainy day in Vipingo – I have never see it rain so much. Normal it comes and goes so fast but not the day I wanted to work on some pic projects outside 🙂 oh well I got some done and was able to spend some time in the class’s after they had finished there exams. Love my days that I can spend in the schools on a “normal” day. I don’t thing there such a thing but I like to think there can be 🙂

Day 5- got to sleep in! Then went on official Kenyan business to make sure that everything was set up and ready for the Big Soccer day at Vipingo. We drove an hr in to kilifi only to find that the guy we had the apt with was in Mombasa where we came from so we had to wait for another guy to come meet us. Have to live Kenya business!
The afternoon we went to a concert with Tin Roof group that is here. That was an experience to see how different that was. The guys think they have sound problems here…you should have heard it here! Haha!
